This notice explains what Pixedi Link collects, why, how long we keep it and what you can do about it. It covers three groups of people: businesses that ask for or have a page, people who visit a link page or scan a Pixedi Link QR code, and people who visit this website.

Pixedi Link is a service of Pixedi Digital Agency Limited, a company registered in England & Wales under company number 16968210. Our registered office address is on our Companies House record. We are the controller of the personal data described here. Write to hello@pxdi.link about anything in this notice.

The short version

  • We don't sell personal data and we don't share it for advertising.
  • We don't put cookies, ad pixels or session recording on link pages.
  • Visitors to a link page are counted, not identified. The business sees totals, never who you are.
  • We don't use your content or your visitors' data to train AI models, and we don't pass it to AI companies.
  • Every period we keep data for is written below. When it ends, the data is deleted or reduced to totals.

1. Businesses that ask for or have a page

What we collect. Your business name, logo, phone number, address, website, email and the other details you ask us to put on your page; the name, email and phone number of the person we deal with; what you tell us in the request form or by email; and a record of the changes we make to your page. Why. To build, run and update your page (our contract with you), to check that the page and its links are safe and that you're entitled to use the business name (our legitimate interest in keeping the service safe), to answer you, and to keep the records the law requires. Where you heard of us. If you reached our request form from a campaign link or another website, the form sends that source with your request (for example "instagram / bio"). We use it only to see which channels work. How long. For as long as your page is live, then 24 months so we can answer questions and restore a page if you come back. Business details that were public on your page may stay in our backups for up to 35 days after deletion. Invoices, if there ever are any, are kept for 6 years because tax law says so.

2. People who visit a link page or scan a QR code

Link pages (pxdi.link/name) and our QR redirects are built to count, not to track.

What we record for each visit. The page, the time, which button was tapped, where the visit came from (for example a printed QR code or an Instagram bio), the country and the type of device and browser. Your IP address. It's used for a moment to work out the country and to block abuse and automated traffic, and then it's discarded. It isn't stored with the visit record and it isn't shown to anyone. What we don't do. No cookies, no fingerprinting, no advertising pixels, no session recording and no profile of you across pages. The business that owns the page sees totals only. Why. Our legitimate interest in running the service, keeping it safe and giving businesses simple counts. Because nothing identifies you, there's very little that could affect you. How long. Raw security logs are kept for up to 30 days. Visit records are kept for 24 months and then reduced to totals. What happens after you tap. Buttons take you to the phone dialer, a map, an email app or another website. What happens there is up to that service and the business, not us. A business is responsible for the way it handles your details if you contact it.

3. People who visit this website (pxdi.link)

Counts without cookies. Cloudflare Web Analytics counts visits and shows which pages load slowly. It doesn't set cookies and doesn't identify you. Only if you click Accept. Google Analytics 4 shows which parts of the page are used, and Microsoft Clarity records how the page is scrolled and clicked so we can fix parts that confuse people (it masks what you type). If you click Decline, neither runs. Change your choice at any time with "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page. These tools are used on this website only, never on link pages. Your choice is remembered in your browser (local storage), not on our servers. How long. Google Analytics data is kept for 14 months. Clarity recordings are kept for 30 days.

4. Link safety checks

Before a link goes live, and from time to time after, we check its address against safety lists such as Google Web Risk. Only the address of the link is sent, never anything about visitors.

5. Who else handles data

We use a small number of providers who process data for us under written terms:

  • Cloudflare: hosting, security, the link pages, visit counts, the request form and email routing.
  • Google: our email (Google Workspace), link safety checks (Web Risk) and, only after consent on this website, Google Analytics.
  • Microsoft: Clarity, only after consent on this website.

Some of them process data outside the UK, including in the US. Where they do, the transfer is covered by the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the UK-US data bridge.

We may also share data when the law requires it, to protect people from fraud or harm, or with a buyer if the service or the company is ever sold, in which case this notice keeps applying to your data.

6. Security

Data is encrypted in transit, access is limited to the people who need it, and link pages hold no personal data beyond what a business chooses to publish about itself. No system is perfectly secure; if something goes wrong that puts you at risk, we'll tell you and the regulator as the law requires.

7. Your rights

Wherever you are, you can ask us what we hold about you, ask for a copy, and ask us to correct or delete it. Under UK and EU law you can also object to how we use it, ask us to restrict it and ask for it in a portable format.

Write to hello@pxdi.link. We'll reply within one month and may ask you to confirm who you are. If you're in the UK and unhappy with our answer, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

US residents (including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia and other states with privacy laws) have the right to know, correct and delete. We don't sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of; we still honour Global Privacy Control signals. We won't treat you differently for using these rights.

Visitors to a link page: we can't link a visit to you, because we don't keep who you are. If you want something removed from a business's page, contact that business, or write to us and we'll pass it on.

8. Children

Pixedi Link is for businesses and isn't meant for children. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you think we have, write to us and we'll delete it.

9. Changes

If we change this notice in a way that matters, we'll update the date at the top and email businesses with a live page before the change takes effect.
